Visiting a school is all about the people: being able to meet the teachers who will be guiding and nurturing your child, getting a feel for the grounds and facilities, seeing our children and picturing your child amongst their new peer group.
Open Week: 15th - 19th March 2027
We warmly invite prospective families to join us for our March Open Week at Marlborough House Vinehall School a leading day and boarding prep school for children aged 2–13 in the heart of East Sussex.
Come and experience the spirit of our school - meet our Head, Joff Powis and our dedicated staff, see our pupils in action, and explore our beautiful campus and boarding facilities. Whether you are considering nursery, prep, or boarding, our team will be delighted to show you what makes life at MHV so special.

Private Tours
In addition to our termly Open Weeks, we run private tours of our Nursery, Pre-Prep and Prep School 5 days a week during term time with our Head, Joff Powis, and our Admissions Manager, Liz Powis.
Tours last approximately one hour; this will give you the opportunity to learn more about the Marlborough House Vinehall Nursery, Pre Prep and Prep School, see all our amazing facilities and meet our inspiring staff and children.

Taster events
Why not join us for a Taster Event? These are held for children entering Reception and Year 3. Taster Mornings are a great way for children to experience MHV life and spend time in the classroom with their peer group, while parents are able to meet the relevant teams and have a tour of the school.

All aboard the Reception Express! This stay and play session is aimed at children looking to join Reception in September 2027.
