Friends of Marlborough house Vinehall (FomhV)

At Marlborough House Vinehall, we are fortunate to have a dedicated and enthusiastic parent and staff committee: the Friends of Marlborough House Vinehall (FoMHV).

This vibrant group of volunteers plays a key role in building a strong sense of community, enriching school life, and supporting initiatives that benefit our children.

The FoMHV brings together families from across the school through a wide variety of social events and fundraising activities. These events are designed to be inclusive, fun, and community-focused, while also helping to raise funds for the school and its chosen charities.

Annual events supported or organised by the Friends include:

  • Fireworks Display
  • Apple Day
  • Christmas Fair & Children’s Christmas Shopping
  • Summer Fete
  • Termly year-group coffee mornings and socials

The committee is made up of parents and staff from Nursery to Year 8, ensuring all parts of our school community are represented. They meet every half term to plan upcoming events and welcome new ideas from the parent body.

In addition, each year group has two class representatives - parents who volunteer to:

  • Support year-specific events and communication
  • Welcome new families and help them settle in
  • Represent their year group at FoMHV meetings
  • Assist with whole-school activities

Whether you’d like to join the committee, become a Class Rep, or simply lend a hand at an event, we’d love to hear from you! Volunteering with FoMHV is a great way to meet other parents, support the school, and help create unforgettable experiences for our children.

For more information or to express your interest in getting involved, please contact the Chair of FoMHV, Clare Emery via the school office or speak to your year group’s Class Representatives.
